Dr. Kaitlyn Sadtler is an immunologist, a postdoctoral fellow at MIT and holds a PhD from John Hopkin University School of Medicine. She is known for her contributions to the field of polymeric biomaterials, particularly for her discovery that T cells are critical for muscle regeneration. Currently, Dr. Sadtler works with the NIH developing immune active biomaterials for regenerative medicine. Her goal is to program immune responses to promote scaffold integration and tissue growth.
