Create your ‘Part’

Each contributing faculty member is assigned a ‘part’, a technical Pressbook term, which allows you to create a unique section encompassing one or more chapters. Each part is labelled by the faculty member’s name and organized alphabetically by surname.

For those of you who may not be familiar with Pressbooks, we have included a video guide, “Getting Started with Pressbooks”, which provides an in-depth overview of how to use Pressbooks.

Additionally, the Pressbooks User Guide is another helpful resource to getting started. The Open Knowledge Center is also able to provide consultations and answer questions about Pressbooks via the Open Knowledge Center webform.
