My video editing and productions skills improved tremendously during my scholarly reassignment—simply because I had the time to devote to regularly producing videos and wasn’t having to relearn everything that I had forgotten since I last made a video (for me this is use it or loose it skill set). One of greatest advantages of skill improvement in video editing and production isn’t all the snazzy transitions and overlays—it’s the speed you gain in making videos. The kinetics video below took me hours and hours longer to produce than the Girl Scout video. The kinetics video was made in the summer of 2020 and the Girl Scout video was made a couple weeks ago.
