Learning Objectives

After completing this unit, students will be able to:

  • Identify and apply safe techniques and skills associated with training for the sports of skiing or snowboarding.
  • List and demonstrate exercises for warm-up and mobility, cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength and endurance, stability and balance, and flexibility.
  • Utilize knowledge of training exercises to construct a pre-season training plan for skiing or snowboarding.
